The tape
KC Concepcion is the mid/late-first receiver our rookie board compared, in the comments, to a Jeanty-adjacent profile - not because he is a running back, but because the tape has that suddenness. The 2025 Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State clip is a player creating in space. Cleveland taking a swing on that in a WR room that is never settled is on-brand for both parties.
The plus is opportunity on a team that cannot stop opening WR jobs. The minus is why those jobs keep opening. Superflex managers should take Concepcion in the late first if the safer WRs are gone, and they should not need him to be Tate.
Plus
- Rookie #7 - mid/late first, Texas A&M 2025 highlight vs. Mississippi State, 'Jeanty-adjacent' profile in the comments.
- Browns WR room can be a land of opportunity even when the franchise is noisy.
Minus
- Cleveland quarterback play is a career-long tax.
- Mid/late first WRs in this class can become WR4s if the landing spot stays broken.
