Plus

  • Hot #8: FantasyPros — FBS-leading receiving TE who popped as a rookie; new HC is a TE maven.
  • 2025 Browns vs. Ravens all-catches clip is a real target tree, not a cameo.

  • Age 22 — still on the right side of the dynasty curve.

Minus

  • Cleveland quarterback play can strand even a good TE.
  • Rookie pop plus new HC is a projection sandwich; it can also be a mirage.

Ball Keep Take

Harold Fannin Jr. is a Hot tight end because the rookie production was real and the new head coach likes tight ends. FantasyPros said it in one breath: FBS-leading receiving TE who popped as a rookie, new HC is a TE maven. The all-catches clip against Baltimore is a player who was actually in the plan, not a gadget.

Cleveland being Cleveland is the minus. We have spent this entire site telling you that. It still matters. A TE maven can only maven if someone can throw. If they can, Fannin is a smash TE2 with TE1 upside. If they can't, he is a Hot name who needed a quarterback.

Buy in TE-premium. Hold in Superflex if you already missed Bowers/McBride. Do not pay Bowers money. Pay the 'rookie TE who actually produced' tax, which is still cheaper than waiting two years for a dart.
