The tape
Jordyn Tyson is the 2026 WR our rookie board treats as an early/mid first. Arizona State's 2025 full-season highlights are a crisp route runner who is dangerous after the catch - the kind of player who can live in the slot or outside. New Orleans spending first-round capital to put him with Olave and (still-young) Tyler Shough is a volume bet, which is exactly what our board said.
The plus is talent plus opportunity. The minus is the same opportunity: Olave exists, the Saints can be a run-leaning mess, and Tyson's pre-draft medical chatter is why he was not a locked top-five pick on every mock. Superflex rookie drafts should still have him in the 1.04-1.07 band.
Plus
- Rookie #4 - Saints' first-round WR, Arizona State 2025 full-season reel, early/mid-1st Superflex value.
- Route running and YAC; can play outside and slot, which New Orleans can actually use next to Olave.
- Early/mid 1st 路 Saints volume bet
Minus
- Injury concerns were why some mock boards had him slipping; monitor the medicals.
- Saints passing volume split with Olave is the weekly cap as a rookie.
