Ball Keep Take
Justin Herbert is the Superflex QB you draft when you want to stop thinking. Seven sources, average 16.43, Keep #18. Erickson loves him (fifth). Brown is colder (26th). The long boards park him in the teens. That average is a franchise quarterback with a real supporting cast for the first time in a while: McConkey, Hampton, and a Chargers offense that can be boring in a good way.
The 2025 Best Plays vs. Kansas City clip is Herbert's plus: velocity, sideline throws, and enough mobility to keep a play alive without being Lamar. He will never be the rushing-QB cheat code. He does not have to be. Superflex leagues that already have one dual-threat still need a second passer who can throw for 280 without a meltdown.
Redraft 1QB leaving him off the top 50 overall is a format thing, not a 'Herbert is cooked' thing. If your SF league has him sliding behind every rookie rusher, that is a buy. If someone still has him as a 1.01 because of 2021 nostalgia, that is a sell. Keep #18 is the adult ranking.
