The tape
Brock Purdy at Keep #39 is a Superflex starter ranking, not a slight. Three boards around 40. The 2025 sideline throw to Deebo (in the Can't-Miss clip) is Purdy's plus: anticipation, placement, a 49ers offense that still knows how to manufacture explosives when the pieces are there.
The minus is the pieces. Pearsall is on our Cold board with a long absence. CMC is a win-now Hot name, not a five-year stack. Purdy's dynasty value is tied to San Francisco remaining a functioning passing game, not to Purdy suddenly becoming Maye.
Plus
- Keep #39 - 49ers starter with a 2025 sideline dime reel that still looks like a timing offense.
- Superflex QB2 you can start without a second thought when San Francisco's weapons are right.
Minus
- Weapons aging/changing (Pearsall Cold, CMC win-now) is the 2026 supporting-cast tax.
- Ceiling is capped versus the rushing QBs we rank 15 spots higher.
