Ball Keep Take
Ja'Marr Chase is the skill-position 1.01 that Superflex has not fully dethroned. Our average of 4.0 across seven boards puts him in the Allen/Maye/Bijan cluster, and Yates still has him as a top-four PPR pick. The 2025 Can't-Miss play — 63 yards of broken tackles — is the scouting report: speed, strength, and a refusal to be brought down by the first or second man.
Where boards disagree is not talent, it is format. Erickson sliding him to eight is a Superflex tell: some experts will take Daniels/Herbert before they take a receiver. That is correct process and still leaves Chase as the first non-QB off most of our sheets. PPR redraft loves him even more than dynasty does, because you do not have to save a slot for a second passer.
The minus is Cincinnati's quarterback room, not Chase. If Burrow misses time, the weekly floor dips and the 'is this still a WR1 week?' tweets start. Dynasty can live through that. Redraft feels it immediately. We are not fading the player. We are fading the injury news cycle around the person throwing him the ball.
