Plus

  • Keep #30, Yates ~29 — Cowboys WR2 with WR1-week explosiveness next to Lamb.
  • Contested-catch talent that shows up on film even when the quarterback is messy.
  • Shows up on four-plus Ball Keep lists — not a one-board meme.

Minus

  • Personality/drop/route-consistency questions never fully leave the scouting report.
  • Dallas WR2 is a volatile weekly role if Lamb is right and the offense is one-note.
  • Expert spread is wide (PFN (Katz/Soppe) 24, KeepTradeCut SF 32, Dynasty Nerds 33, RotoWire 33…). You are betting with one camp, not a unanimous tape.

Ball Keep Take

George Pickens is the boom button on Dallas' roster. Keep #30, three-board average 29.67, Yates in the same neighborhood. The 2025 season reel is Pickens winning the ball in the air and turning 50-50s into 70-30s. That skill does not disappear when the narrative gets loud.

Next to Lamb he is a WR2 with WR1 spikes, which is exactly how redraft should treat him and how Superflex should treat him after the true alphas are gone. If Lamb misses time, Pickens becomes a must-start. If Lamb is healthy, Pickens is a smash-spot WR2.

The minus is the same minus it has always been: you are betting on talent winning over volatility. We have him in the Egbuka/London-adjacent tier, not in the JSN tier. Pay that price. Do not pay Lamb money for Pickens and then blog about chemistry.
