Trey McBride is the tight end you start without a second thought and only debate in Superflex when Bowers is also on the board. Keep #25, Yates 16th in PPR. The 2024-25 highlight mix is McBride as a receiver who happens to line up at tight end: option routes, chain movers, enough athleticism to threaten the seam.
Ball Keep still has Bowers a full tier up because of age and the KTC premium. That is not a McBride fade. That is Bowers being a freak. McBride is the 'I will take the proven target monster on a team that has to throw' pick, and in PPR redraft that often comes off the board before Superflex managers are done drafting quarterbacks.
Jeremiyah Love landing in Arizona is a mild minus for McBride's rushing-game vultures, not for his route tree. If anything, a functional run game can help play action. We are holding McBride everywhere. We are not paying Bowers prices for him.
