The tape
Jonathan Taylor is the reddest redraft name on a dynasty site. Yates has him seventh in PPR. Our standard board has him fourth because that is what 20-carry touchdown backs do in non-PPR. The Colts 2025 reel is Taylor as a hammer: inside, outside, enough burst left to finish.
The Keep at 31 is not a smear. It is Superflex math. Quarterbacks and young skill players eat the first two rounds, and a running back with Taylor's injury history does not get the Gibbs/Bijan premium. You can win a 2026 redraft title with Taylor as your RB1. You cannot build a 2029 roster around him as your only expensive back.
Plus
- Yates PPR 7th and our standard 4th - 2025 Colts RB1 volume is still a cheat code in redraft.
- When he's healthy, the rushing floor is a weekly win in any format that counts yards and TDs.
Minus
- Keep #31 - dynasty has moved on from paying 1.01 prices for a back in his mid-20s with a mileage/injury sticker.
- Indianapolis' passing-game vultures and health history are the long-term tax.
