Sleeper BPL 2025 had him 11th (221.6) on 15 goals and 9 assists in a Chelsea shirt. Consensus 19.3. Hybrid 8. The public is treating him like a 1.02. The boards that count are treating him like a top-ten forward who might have gotten lucky on the assist column.
The 2025/26 line: 31 starts, 2,658 minutes, 15 G, 9 A, 30 bonus, 177 FPL points. 14.91 xG is honest finishing. 1.96 xA against 9 assists is not. He more than quadrupled his expected assists. That can be 'Chelsea's chance creation found him in ways the model missed' or 'do not buy 9 assists again.' The Premier is willing to rank the 15 goals and nervous about the 9 assists. Hence 8, not 3.
Price £7.5m is the other reason the public smashed the button. He is cheaper than Haaland, Thiago, and Watkins on several squad builds, and he is Chelsea.
